A great day in Ocean City, MD. Although a bit on the cool side (hi 40’s/low 50’s) and a fairly heavy north wind, folks were out in large numbers strolling the boardwalk. A bit of tragic news, the Dough Roller restaurant on the boardwalk and at least one adjacent building were destroyed by fire this afternoon. Fire equipment from as far as Georgetown Delaware were called to the scene for support. The good news is that I have not heard of any injuries.
We are also seeing lots of traffic coming out to open houses at the new construction projects, especially the Makai. Feedback has been great remarks such as “beautiful building, terrific prices, top of the line amenity package, etc. Sales activity since our grand opening on Feb 13 has been steady.
If you haven’t been to the Makai you should go see for yourself. The Makai is located at 4201 Coastal Hwy, just next to the Ocean City Convention Center. If you were here when we were still selling out of the trailor, please come back. It will be worth the trip.
