Well, here we go again. Another weekend in Ocean City, MD. and plenty of activities on tap to add to our warm beach weather. A little overcast today but all in all a great weekend in store.

Endless Summer Cruisin kicked off yesterday and will run through Sunday with the annual onslaught of muscle, hotrods, custom and classic cars featured on the inlet parking lot. Of course you can catch the parade of cars up and down coastal highway throughout the day. There will also be plenty of entertainment, vendors and special attractions. I believe this will be the last auto show here in O.C. until next year.

OCTOBERFEST begins today at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center at 11:30 am and will close at 11:30 pm this evening. Hours of operation tomorrow (Saturday) is 11:00 til 11:30 and Sunday from 11:00 til 4:00. If German cuisine, non-stop entertainment and German refreshments  excites you, for a small admission you can have a fun filled afternoon or evening.  Also included  in the admission price is the Arts and Crafts Fair. At 1:00 on Sunday there will be a Knockwurst eating contest. If you plan to enter, sign up early and be sure to bring a hearty appetite. There will also be plenty of activities for the Children so don’t leave them behind. Mike Wicklein, the “Fest” promoter always always puts on a good show.   If you plan to sample the German beer, please bring a designated driver.

Saturday and Sunday, the 35th Annual Maryland State Numismatic Association Coin Show will also be at the Convention Center. Over 75 dealers will be offering Gold, Silver, U.S. and Foreign Jewelry, Tokens and Medals for sale to the public. So much to do and so little time.

If you plan to come to the beach to attend the many activities, get your fishing pole wet, play a round at one of our fine golf courses, catch some waves or rays or perhaps take a drive to Assateague Island you wont be disappointed in our family, fun filled resort.

Again, when going to or leaving the Convention Center stop by the Makai Condominium next door at 4201 Coastal Hwy. Say hi to and get a brochure from the  Long and Foster professional Realtor manning the Sales Trailer. He will point out that the Makai is on track to start going to settlement the end of November or early December. The Makai continues to be the lowest priced new construction in Ocean City. As a matter of fact, the highest priced unit is lower than the lowest priced competition. The pool is being done now, sauna in the fitness center is in place, billiard tables waiting to be delivered, children’s arcade almost ready and the other amenities are coming together nicely. To receive additional information on the Makai, go to www.makaicondos.com or you can call 410-603-2205. As always, we enjoy hearing from you.

It is getting late in the season and our great weather will slowly ebb away. Don’t  look back in January and say “We should have”, do it now.

While in Ocean City, MD. have a great time, take home some memories, drive safely and remember to cross at marked cross walks only. Enjoy Your Weekend!
